How To Increase Bookings & Book Yourself Out

How to increase bookings and book yourself out, is what we all want as boudoir photographers! I hear ya friend. It can be a difficult thing to figure out that’s for sure, how on earth to book your calendar full for the year. The best way I know how is marketing. Start at the beginning of the year and choose a day where you will schedule in your marketing plan for the entire year. Doing this will get you thinking and will save you time later on, lessening the chance of having empty months and scrambling at the last min to try and fill days in your planner. Here are a few different ways that you can market your boudoir photography business.

Run Promotions To Target An Event

There are many reasons why a woman would like to book a boudoir experience. Here is a list of some ideas and promos you can market around.

  • A Bride – she is getting married and would like to give a gift to her future husband. Start your promo for this at the end of March.
  • Up coming anniversary – You can run a Facebook ad that targets woman that are going to have an anniversary in 60-90 day’s.
  • A gift to herself. Just an empowerment day
  • Valentines Day
  • Weight loss achievement gift
  • Celebrating an accomplishment

You get the idea. The reasons to have a boudoir experience are endless. Just be sure that you know who your ideal client is and how you can best market to her. Here are some other tips to keep in mind.

Plan Ahead

Planning ahead is going to make your life a lot easier. Yes, you may have to tweak things a bit as you going along, but having the base foundation for your marketing in place will proof most beneficial. Be sure to schedule your social media posts. Plan when you will start each marketing campaign. Design your website and social media templates similar, so that everything is on brand. You can create templates in Canva and just change out the image and the words for each subject you are going to talk about. Send out a weekly or by weekly news letter. You can connect and reuse your social medial and blog posts for this. Doing this will save you lots of time.

Finally, if this seems overwhelming for you, I totally understand. If you can get a piece of paper and do a brain dump. So just come up with every possible way that you can market and reach your ideal client. This is the best way to start any planning strategy. Then after you have all your ideas down, start implementing which is most important, then book it in your calendar. Get it done!
