How to give your clients the ultimate boudoir experience

I want to share with you 3 things to give your clients the ultimate boudoir experience. The first thing is, just be yourself and be amazing! Give your client a 5-start experience and she will leave feeling wonderful about her shoot and you.

1. Pre-Shoot Contact

Having good communication and setting expectations with your client from the get go will be key in her having the best top notch dream session. After all, we want our clients to be leaving our studio, shouting her experience from the roof tops, right? Be sure to send out a client questionnaire at the time of booking your client. You can attach this questionnaire to your welcome email. This questionnaire will help you to get to know your client, and sets you up nicely to know what she is looking for in terms of products that she wants. Knowing this before your go into your IPS session, will help you to understand what she wants, helping to you increase your sale. You will ask her questions like, what type of album would you like, do you like black and white images? Do you want wall art. The more you know about your client before her shoot, the better you can serve her.

2. During Your Shoot

Having confidence in what you do, is going to be key. It maybe difficult to feel at first, but with practice you will get there.Practice with a friend or family member, or find a model. If you feel confident in your posing, your camera equipment, your process then your client will feel confident. The entire reason she book a shoot with you, is to feel more empowered and  in herself. Have your core poses set up and ready to go, know your stuff.

3. After The Shoot

Your clients experience doesn’t end when the shoot is over. Let your client know what to expect after she places her order. When will she be receiving her products? Will she pick up or will you be shipping it. Try to aim to have her products to her before the time frame you mentioned. Always under promise and over deliver. So, if you tell her you will have her albums to her in 4-6 weeks, be sure to have them to her before then. In her eye’s she will see that you are on the ball and great to work with. You will also want to include a thank you note in with her package and or also a little bonus gift, its a great way to up your process and say thanks. Be sure to include a few marketing cards also that she can share with her friends, or keep one for herself, for her next shoot.

There are so many way to up your client experience. Be sure to keep it real and be yourself during the process.
